Power County Jail Roster Overview
The Power County Jail Roster is the first stop for current adult inmate records in Power County. It is linked from the county jail page and lists current bookings rather than a full jail archive. The roster showed a timestamp, a total count, a Search Name field, page numbers, and clickable name links when inspected. It did not require a login or fee.
The roster is narrow by design. It covers people currently held in the Power County Jail / Power County Detention Division. It does not list sentenced state prisoners after transfer to IDOC, immigration detainees held elsewhere, federal prisoners, or juveniles held through the District VI Juvenile Detention Center. For those records, use the state, federal, immigration, or juvenile access channel instead of forcing the adult jail roster to answer a question it does not cover.
The official roster page is visible on the Power County current bookings list.
The roster screenshot shows why checking the timestamp and then opening the name link matters before relying on booking details.
Use the Power County Inmate Roster
A current Power County inmate record is easiest to find when the spelling is known, but the roster is short enough that browsing can help. The search form does not ask for date of birth, booking number, charge, facility, or date range. If a name has more than one surname, search each surname and try fewer characters.
- Open the official Power County roster and read the "Current Bookings as of" timestamp.
- Enter a last name, first name, or partial name in the Search Name field.
- Use the page numbers to scan all current bookings if the search misses a spelling variant.
- Click the person's name to open the booking detail page.
- Confirm the booking number, incarceration date, charge rows, court case number if shown, bail amount, and bail type.
- If the person is not listed, call the Sheriff's Office at 208-226-2311 and check iCourt, IDOC, BOP, ICE, or VINELink as appropriate.
Power County Roster Search Fields
The Power County roster uses a simple search field rather than a modern filter panel. That means fewer mistakes with required fields, but it also means there is no way to limit results by arresting agency, date, or charge on the public list. The detail page carries the richer inmate record.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search Name: | Text | Unspecified | Accepts name text for current bookings. No wildcard, minimum-length, or exact-match rule was posted. |
| Search | Button | n/a | Submits the name search. |
| Page numbers | Pagination | n/a | Use to browse the full current list when search terms are uncertain. |
Power County Inmate Profile Fields
The inspected booking detail page showed a compact public inmate profile. It included one mugshot panel and a charge table. It did not show many demographic or housing fields that some larger county jail systems publish, so Power County inmate records should not be described as if they include height, weight, race, sex, date of birth, pod, cell, arresting officer, or projected release date.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Public booking name in last-name-first format. |
| Booking Number | Local booking number. The sample format was YYYY-#####. |
| Incarceration Date | Booking or incarceration date and 24-hour time. |
| Mugshot | Booking photo displayed on the detail page when available. |
| # Counts | Count indicator for the charge row. |
| Offense Date | Date tied to the listed charge or warrant row. |
| Charge | Plain-English charge description, without statute code on the inspected page. |
| Court Case # | Court or warrant case number if attached; some rows may be blank. |
| Bail Amount | Numeric bail amount by row. Confirm before posting money. |
| BailType | Type label shown by the roster. The sample showed None. |
A sample booking detail appeared on the official Power County booking profile page.
The detail image confirms that charge and bail data are found after opening the inmate profile, not on the roster list.
Power County Booking Records
Power County publishes one key booking-process statement: once booking is complete, the inmate is allowed to make a phone call to notify family or friends of custody and charges, and bond information may also be discussed. The public profile then shows the local booking number, incarceration date, mugshot, and charge or bail rows. No official roster-refresh interval was located, so a very new arrest may require a phone call before it appears online.
Booking charges are not always the final court charges. The jail record reflects custody intake. The prosecutor and court record determine what charges are formally filed, amended, dismissed, or resolved. For that reason, court records after a jail arrest should be checked when the question is about the criminal case rather than current custody.
Power County Jail Facilities
The adult inmate record system belongs to the Power County Jail / Power County Detention Division. The District VI Juvenile Detention Center is a regional juvenile facility serving participating counties, including Power County referrals, but juvenile detention is more confidential and is not searched through the adult current bookings roster.

Power County Inmate Mail and Funds
Mail for the adult jail uses the inmate's booked name and the Detention Division mailing format. Incoming and outgoing mail must go through the U.S. Postal Service. Legal mail is opened only in the inmate's presence. Other incoming mail is opened and searched for contraband or evidence. Paperback books and magazines must come directly from a publisher or bookstore, and hardbacks are not allowed.

Power County Inmate Lookup Channels
Use the access channel that matches the record. The roster is best for current jail custody. A phone call or in-person contact can confirm custody when the roster is down or too new, but the jail page says further details are strictly confidential. Records requests are the route for arrest reports, booking records, and older or unavailable jail materials.
Power County's records process is also split by custodian. The broad county public records form is used when the request does not fit a more specific office. The sheriff report request form is the better match for accident, incident, arrest, pictures, video, or other law-enforcement report material. Court records, hearing audio, sealed-file questions, and case documents belong with the court records request process because the clerk and court hold those files under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32.
